Green English is run by Amanda Griesbach, M.A. I offer tutoring and editing services, as well as nature-based ESL workshops and camps. I have taught English as an ESL teacher for over 10 years, on Pender Island and at the University of Victoria and at universities in Kyoto, Japan. I have tutored at St. Michaels University School in Victoria and privately for elementary to university students. For the past seven summers, I worked as a park facility operator on the Pender Islands, and for a few years, for Cabbage and Saturna Islands. I am also an artist, and my paintings and mixed-media collages are inspired by nature. As a teacher, I believe in nurturing the mind, body, heart and soul. Being in nature gives me joy and deep peace; I want to help children develop their own special connections with our natural world. Read bio.

Green English Adventures aims to give children an opportunity to learn English, create art, experience nature and go on eco-adventures. Come camp by the ocean for a week and see the wildlife on Pender Island.

• Nature-based ESL Camps are offered in early July.
